Progenitor Hair Bulge stemcells to regenerate dormant hair follicle

Stem Cell Hair – Lets work together to find cure for androgenic alopecia/male/female pattern baldness.

Steam Cell Hair

I am a Bio technologist at Dr Nigam’s Goodhealth Pvt Ltd, Hair Transplant Center Mumbai India. Recent research has shown that , the defect in hair buge stem-cells, to convert to active ,progenitor stem-cells, could be one of the main reason for androgenetic alopecia. In our lab , like few other researchers, we are able to isolate and activate the bulge hair stem cells, specifically cd200, epithelial stemcells. Only problem is they culture slowly, and for a successful potential future therapy, a large number of cd200 cells will be required, in minimum time and in large scale. We are using pvr tubes for the same, but would need other techniques to do the same, well working on it. Why these cd200 epithelial stemcells at the hair bulge of an alopecia patient become inactive or dormant is not known yet, few theories suggest, sympathetic stimulation which is connected to stress, as these cells are innervated with sympathetic nerves. It is these cd200 stem-cells in the hair bulge, which further communicates with trhe signals from dermal papilla sheath and matrix cells to form hair shaft and or activate hair follicle from telogen top anagen. Role of CD200,Progenitor Hair Bulge stem-cells to regenerate dormant hair follicle…..

Anyone .who can throw more light on isolating and culturing hair follicle bulge cd200 epithelial stem-cells, may give his experience or link of relevant scientific paper. Also you can write about , what do you think about the role of these cells, for potential future hair activation and or regeneration.
